Livingstone, Zambia - Week 6
Hi everyone, this is Brian!
This week has been such a busy one! We made our way back to
Livingstone after finishing up our first class in Macha. We were all sad to
leave Macha as we fell in love with the town and the people, but it was time to
begin our intense week of history! We were excited to finally see Dr. Pierce
again! He brought a student (Heather) and my wife, Tatum! It was such a gift that she
got to visit us for a week even though we were super busy with history! We
learned a lot and got to enjoy some new things in Livingstone like visiting the
Livingstone Museum to do a scavenger hunt, meeting with a traditional healer, visiting Café Au Lait almost every day
to get coffees and samosas, and going through immigration office to get our second visas!
Unfortunately, our very busy week in Livingstone has come to an end. Goodbyes
are always difficult because we meet so many awesome people in each town we
visit. We’ll be back in Livingstone next month before we head back to the U.S.,
but some of the people like Karen and Erin (with Come Go With Us) will not be there when we return.
Even though we are sad to have to say bye, we are looking forward to everything
God has in store for us in Zimba!
continued prayers as you finish up your last weeks in Zambia
